  2. Real nice, just wish it was in color. Outtake from Life magazine cover shoot? There's a few of these.

  3. I THINK that these photos were not necessarily taken for "Life" or any other publication in particular. They were taken to supply the world's press(magazines/newspapers) with new photos of the guys. Whoever chose to use them I'm sure paid a fee to Apple. One country's "outtake" photo may have been printed in another one. These "outtakes" are only ones that we(or some of us) have yet to see. THIS photo here was obviously available somewhere or we would not be looking at it now. I am amazed at how many from this session(and others) STILL keep appearing over 40 years later. Kind of cool to know that I will never live to see them all. The more the merrier.

  4. Woah. Was Ringo really going grey at the temples in '68? I'd never noticed.

  5. Ringo was grey in the temples in 1962! Honest.

  6. There are lots of photos/movies of the Beatles that have not turned up yet. I'd like to see the supposed rescued unseen films from the Help! movie. Footage of the stoned Beatles horsing around.

  7. MILLIONS of photos yet to be seen. Anything from a photo shoot, press conference, airport arrivals and departure, concert photos, in-store appearances, candids taken at their own houses, paparazzi shots, backstage photos, award shows & benefits. It's endless.

  9. when the beatles left london on holiday in the late 60's and we couldn't see them go in and out of the studios or their houses, my friend denise and i would go to the newspaper and magazine agencies to buy photos. you have no idea of the HUGE boxes they would give us to look through. a nightmare, since we could only afford a few photos at a time... but they were there, tons of them. i saw them folks, they DO exist!
